Harmony Adoptions, in association with its partners Agape (Memphis) and Catholic Charities (Nashville), is delighted to announce the launch of a new federally funded program, Healthy Marriage, Healthy Family. The HMHF project represents yet another unique offering of services Harmony provides through the Adoption Support and Preservation program (ASAP).
This new program will directly benefit resource families who are either an approved pre-adopt family or who have adopted children from the Tennessee Department of Children Services (DCS). The HMHF Project will provide marriage enrichment services utilizing the statewide ASAP/DCS network and employing a curriculum known as the Prevention and Relationship Enhancement Program or P.R.E.P. The P.R.E.P. training is geared toward educating couples in effective communication and problem-solving strategies in order to decrease marital conflict/discord and enhance marital satisfaction. As one can tell, this is an incredible opportunity to increase the stability within the homes of families who have either already adopted children or who are planning to adopt children in the future!
Be sure to watch the HMHF Video to hear from actual participants.
As with ASAP this service will be delivered at no cost to the recipients. For more information , contact the HMHF Master Trainer, Shea Watts, at swatts@harmonyadoptions.org or 865.982.5225 or 866.461.4643.
